Clegg provided comprehensive civil and structural engineering services for the Red Gables project, covering both the substructure and superstructure elements. The substructure design included traditional strip foundations, ensuring the structure was well-supported and stable. Clegg ensured that the foundations were appropriately sized to handle the load distribution, accounting for various environmental factors. For the superstructure, our team worked closely with the architect to integrate the load-bearing masonry walls with the timber trussed roofs, enhancing lateral stability.
