Luxury Apartments | Gibraltar

Clegg designed the structure of a series of luxury apartments in Gibraltar.

The construction of nine-storey apartment blocks used a concrete frame up to the fifth floor. Pumping concrete became a more complicated and expensive procedure. Therefore, a steel frame was used for the remaining floors.

Light gauge steel wall panels and floor joists were also used. This saved weight and time, and enabled the panels to be manufactured on-site and craned into place.
