Project Overview
Malling Precast Ltd, a subsidiary of the Laing O’Rourke Group, engaged Clegg as a key partner in the delivery of a complex design package for a high-profile retail development located in Ashford, Kent.

The project involved the design of reinforced concrete precast wall panels for a large department store. Clegg collaborated closely with Practech Design Studio Ltd to ensure the design met both aesthetic and structural requirements.

The scope of work included the creation of detailed drawings and specifications for the precast wall panels, as well as the design of associated steel reinforcement and steel fixing brackets to securely anchor the panels to the steel frame of the building. This provided an effective and robust approach to meet the project’s safety and durability requirements
