Contemporary extension | Waterside lodge, near Hungerford

Clegg were part of this contemporary extension beside the River Kennet, near Hungerford.

The River Kennet is one of England’s most important chalk streams. It runs through the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty and passes by some of Britain’s most important prehistoric sites. Then eventually, joins the River Thames.

We worked alongside Milton Architects for this project. Our involvement was in both the sub-structure and super-structure. We provided cantilevered steelwork out over the river to take advantage of the spectacular scenery.

The extension looks fantastic. As a result, the client shared their delight.
