Project Overview

Doric House, located in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, serves as the new headquarters for Ashford Homes. The project involves the development of a cost-effective, multi-tenant office building in a rural location, providing versatile commercial space for a range of tenants. The design optimises both space and energy efficiency, integrating sustainable building principles to minimise its environmental impact.

Our role in this project focused on ensuring structural integrity, functional design, and sustainable performance. Using advanced 3D modelling software, we were able to visualise and refine the building’s form, optimising both structural configurations and the layout. We conducted detailed structural analysis and scenario planning to assess load-bearing capacities, foundation requirements, and overall structural performance. The building’s flexible floor plates and column-free design allow for adaptable spaces that can easily cater to varying tenant needs.
